La collection Pâtisserie | 2026

Those who know me know that I have quite a sweet tooth. In our home, Saturday mornings are sacred: croissants or chocolatines are a must! I enjoy eating pastries just as much as I love baking and sharing them. For a while, I even considered opening a small café combining pastries with creations by local makers. In the end, I chose to continue the Petit Loulou adventure.

The Pâtisserie collection was born from the meeting of two worlds I particularly love: baking and creating whimsical characters. Croissants, cakes and other sweet treats inspired a series of one-of-a-kind pieces, entirely designed and carefully crafted in my studio in the Charente region of France. As always, each character has its own name, expression and little story.

They are gathered here to preserve a record of their time in the Petit Loulou universe.

- The Kittybees -

Melibeille Chabeille is a little bee with a strong personality. She managed to get the largest croissant in the Pâtisserie and is keeping it safely tucked against her. Her slightly suspicious expression leaves no room for doubt: no one is taking it away from her.

Rosamiel Chabeille dreams of setting off on an adventure. Always prepared, she never travels without a fresh baguette from the bakery. She insists that it is meant to be her food for the journey, but she is already keeping a close eye on the crusty end, which, as often happens in our home, may mysteriously disappear before she has even left the garden.

Halie Chabeille is the smallest sweet tooth in the Petit Loulou Pâtisserie. Although she is only a few centimetres tall, she fully intends to keep her entire croissant to herself. Safely tucked inside her fluffy golden bee costume, she holds her pastry close with an expression that is both sweet and slightly worried: could someone else be thinking about taking a bite?

- The Strawberry Lemurelf Trio -

Strawberry charlotte is a dessert we particularly enjoy at home. It also reminds me of strawberry picking in Quebec and became the starting point for this trio of Lemurelfs.

Charlotte Lemurelf was inspired by strawberry charlotte, one of my son’s favourite desserts. She is always searching for the perfect place to sit down and quietly enjoy her favourite treat.

Berry Lemurelf has very strong opinions when it comes to dessert. A discussion about strawberries clearly got out of hand and ended in a full-blown food fight. Covered in strawberry sauce from head to toe, Berry may not have won the battle, but his expression makes it perfectly clear that he remains absolutely convinced he was right.

Gary Lemurelf insists that he had absolutely nothing to do with the Great Strawberry Battle. He even claims that he was quietly looking the other way when it happened. No one knows exactly how the argument began, but his far-too-innocent expression quickly made him the prime suspect. The strawberry perched on his head certainly does not help his case.

Reinette Froggy is convinced that every day is better with a strawberry. She loves curling up inside her little charlotte, which she can also climb out of whenever she feels like exploring, with her freshly picked strawberry held close.

- The Surprise of the Event -

I like to include a surprise in each of my limited-time sales. For the Pâtisserie collection, I offered three semi-custom Lemurelfs at the regular price of a non-custom piece.

For two of them, their collectors selected the colours and facial expression. The third was a surprise Lemurelf, entirely designed in my studio and revealed to its collector only once it was complete.

To keep them connected to the theme of the collection, each one also received its own croissant. Starting from the same basic shape, three unique pieces with very different personalities came to life.

Dinara Lemurelf was named after Ukrainian pastry chef Dinara Kasko, whose geometric creations transform pastry into true sculptural art.
This semi-custom piece was created using the colours and expression selected by her collector. Her little croissant connects her to the delicious world of the Pâtisserie collection.

Nina Lemurelf was named after pastry chef Nina Métayer, whose cookies I had the pleasure of tasting at Les Gastronomades last year.
Nina was the surprise creation of this sale: her colours, expression and every detail of her personality were entirely imagined in my studio, then revealed to her collector once the piece was complete.

Madeleine Lemurelf was named after one of the great classics of French baking. Her natural colours, little red beret and croissant give her a sweet and unmistakably French look.

- The Auction Piece -

For each of my limited-time sales, I create a more elaborate piece with additional details to be offered at auction. For the Pâtisserie collection, this special creation was Maia Chabeille.

Maia probably has the biggest sweet tooth of all the Chabeilles. She makes her own ice cream and, when it is time to serve herself, can never settle on just one flavour. Instead, she generously stacks them all in her cone. After all, you have to try everything.
